Encaustic Workshop September 29, 2013

Encaustic workshop
Renaissance Art Gallery
Our next workshop, in encaustics will be Sunday September 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm at the Renaissance Art Gallery.
Artists interested in being a part of this workshop should contact:

We will have a heat gun and hot pallet, but you are encouraged to bring what supplies you already have. This will be an interactive workshop. No experience is necessary.

We will be working in both traditional encaustics and experimental methods. 

Encaustics will be included this year in the 13th Annual National Miniature Exhibition to be held in November, so this is a good chance to work on a piece!

Two of our  Renaissance Art Gallery  members, Linda Helgason and Pati Payne, will be taking the Walter Gropius workshop October 18-20 at the Huntington Museum of Art from master artist Ray Turner.  

 
We are proud of our members who continue learning. Linda will also be participating in the Bruce Bowersock figure drawing class.
