Welcome Clarice and Eric Kumlien

“Mother and Son: It is in the Genes”

 


The art work of Clarice Kumlien and her son Eric Kumlien will be on exhibit at


the Renaissance Art Gallery
 900 8th Street, Suite #20
 Huntington, WV

 from March 7 to April 19, 2012. 


 

Clarice Kumlien is an active 86 year old artist that is president of the Ironton Artists Association, retired registered nurse and has been teaching a yoga class for the past twenty five years.  She does watercolor paintings of country landscapes and still life paintings of flowers and vegetables that she grows in her garden at Lake Forest, Ohio.

 

Eric Kumlien from Huntington, WV got his education at Marshall University where he studied many things including art. He enjoys all forms of printmaking and pottery.  He is currently making ceramics at the Huntington Museum of Art under Kathleen Knefskey artist in residence.

Everyone is invited and welcome to the opening reception at the Renaissance Art Gallery Sunday March 9th from 2-4 PM.

Studio hours Monday 10-Noon, Wednesday 1:00-7:30 pm and Saturday 10-Noon
