Art Trading Card Meet & Swap

Saturday was our 3rd ATC meet and swap.

If you missed it, you missed a great time!

Tables quickly filled and everyone really got into it.

We had a couple of decks of cards, paper, scissors, glue and a wide array of pencils, everything from 100% graphite through tinted graphite, charcoal, and many, many colored pencils.

The watercolor pencils proved very popular! They were precise but still allowed you to flow the pigments.

A lot of people got creative with scissors, and applied a wide range of papers to the cards for tinting and manipulation. The collage method of altering the cards was really fun.

The ladies from Charleston brought in a lot of sample which the rest of us found inspiring. Everyone was able to do several cards, so had some to keep and some to trade.

Pati Payne used watercolors to do a smashing little landscape, which was trading for before she was done! (sorry, went so fast, no picture!)
