ATC Party

Friday Pati Payne, famous for her floral watercolors, is in the Renaissance Art Gallery. She is painting bookmarks, and you are welcome to join her.

Saturday is our first ATC Party!

What is an ATC Party?

It is an Art Trading Card party.

You came and create an original work of art, the size of a baseball card, or playing card (they actually started with playing cards!) You can do them all any art materials, made up of almost anything. We will have a supply of precut cards, in watercolor paper, pastel paper, even bamboo! Susan Tschantz will host. She has done these for years and has been part of several swaps across the country. Susan will bring in some of her own cards from artists across the country.

These miniature works are fun and easy.

We will have the supply, you come in and supply the artists!

This is a great activity for adults and kids,

We will have samples, drinks and other things to enjoy!

You can also pick up a prospectus for the fall miniature show. These are at the gallery, or on line at the Renaissance Art Gallery website:

The Renaissance Art Gallery

Laura Moul will be hosting the gallery Sunday. Laura is an expert in digital photography and has a great display of WV landscapes at the Renaissance Art Gallery.

  1. Susan, your website is alive and wonderful. We hope to have time on some Saturday to come and make art cards with you. We had talked about it and now it is just a matter of time. Sounds like Renaissance Gallery is growing better every day! Lil and Bruce, Watercolor Dreams Gallery

  2. I hope you do too! It was wonderful. I hope next month all of the Renaissance artists will take the time to make these little cards!
We had 10 people come in and they had a blast!

What I love it that so often you can have such fun, and use a little humor in the art!

This is something Bruce would love doing!
