Rabert Fulk’s Painting Demonstration

Rabert’s painting presentation was about what he does and why he does it. This made for an interesting afternoon among artists. But his presentation was not just for artist but for anyone who is intrigued by art.
Rabert Fulks speaks about his approach to art
and the products he uses.

When he spoke we all knew we were listening to not only an experienced artist but one who still had a passion for art.

“I have a plan” he said. “when I paint with a plan I see results”

A page from his sketch book.

He pointed out then when we look at art, whether we are an artist or not, our eye naturally looks for unity in the piece. Without this unity, the viewer will focus on the unbalanced bits. It is the responsibility of the artist to provide the unity and balance in art.

Rabert Fulk's artwork will be on display at the Renaissance Art Gallery through April 21, 2013. The Gallery is open Friday and Saturday 12-4 pm and Sunday 1-4 pm. The Renaissance Art Gallery is open to the public.
