The Renaissance Gallery Steps out

Artists of the Renaissance Art Gallery

 
Tuesday March 18, 2014, a new show will open across the river in Proctorville. The “Many Faces of Art” featuring all the artists of the Renaissance Art Gallery will open at Ohio University Proctorville Center. Reception is from 6-8 Tuesday evening.

Everyone in the gallery has been working for months to bring new art to this exhibition. “The Many Faces of Art: The Artists of the Renaissance” will run from March 18-April 29, 2014, at

Art Walk:

Again the Renaissance Art Gallery will provide an art walk for the opening of Arts Resources in the Tri-State’s presentation of “Pirates of Penzance” March 21, 22 and 23.  Tri-state



 

 

 

 

 

Art Classes


With the spring thaw, art classes are again being held at the Renaissance Art Gallery.

Monday painting class is from 10-12 am. Fern Christian leads painters through the mysteries of composition, color and control. She also leads a Saturday Morning class from 10-Noon. Contact Fern for more information at 304-453-3187. Wednesday is a relaxing day for everyone, with work in graphite and other media drawing. Classes start at 12:00 and run through 7:30 with a flexible schedule for both adults and school aged artists. Sue Tschantz would welcome you to the study of fine art.   1. For your art classes, I would recommend to have your students install the ArtGuru application on their smartphones. It features the ability to provide info about a painting, such as it's current location the artist and year.
